Products offered on “omakase” currently include high-end kitchen knives from Sakai, a city known for its 600-year history of knife making, and Edo Kiriko glassware, a delicate handmade glass craft made with traditional techniques. By bringing products that embody the long history of Japanese craftsmanship online, “omakase” introduces international customers to Japanese brands that have previously been unavailable overseas. forest plans to continuously expand “omakase”’s range of products and shipping countries, with the goal of offering products from over 30 leading Japanese brands within a year.
